From one shaky place to another

You wouldn't believe it. Wellington had a good earthquake this morning. A 5.7  however Tracey and I didn't feel it as we were too busy talking  driving to the airport!  So we are now safely in Christchurch. Hopefully there will be no other quakes here .

We are all set up for the show and looking forward to our Christchurch visitors.

Here is a picture of something new I have been working on for the snuggle bears and bunnies.

Heading to Christchurch

Hi everyone from a very chilly New Zealand.  We are in the depths of winter and over the weekend it rained persistently.  What a perfect excuse to keep tucked up inside beavering away on our creations. 

We are busy getting ready to head off to the National Doll and Bear show in Christchurch this weekend at the Horticultural Centre, 57 Riccarton Road from 10am till 4pm, Saturday and Sunday.  If any of you are in the area or at the show please pop in and say hello.

I have been trying to finish off some of the new garments I have been working on for the bears, mice, elephants and dolls.  I love knitting in miniature and none of these are over 5.5 cm (2.25 inches) in length.  Let me know what you think.

What a day!!!

Hi all
Today was very exciting. I met up with Janine from my set-up shop course. We talked for 4 hours non-stop. Which is not surprising as most people know I love to talk.

I took these bears and a mouse to show her.

On arriving home I found that my studio roof had leaked. I was so lucky that I had a tidy table and did not suffer too much damage.

On my table are the following mice. 2 avocado and 2 cream mice.

Where are my sisters??????

New Product Release !!!!

Hi everyone,

Lots has been going on behind the scenes and I am pleased to say that we have just launched our new bed and bedding range on Etsy especially designed for the Snuggle Bears and Bunnies.  They are also great for any dolls under 6 inches tall like Lati and Pukipuki. 

The bed is a little kitset which just fits together, no glue, nails or tools required.  The first range of bedding is pictured below.  Please let us know what you think.

Hi all! Sorry for the late post.

Well it has been a busy day today. I have finally booked my flights to London. I am heading off to the  Hugglets Teddy Bear Show, which is being held on the 8th of September.!!!

It is going to be so much fun!

The reason for the lateness in posting was because today I taught Campbell's class how to make friendship bracelets. We had heaps of fun and the lesson was very successful. Getting prepared for this task made me very late in getting a post onto the blog.
Hopefully next week I will have some photos of his class doing their bracelet making.

Anyway, finally I have put together photos of the bears in their outfits at the Brisbane Show "Winter Wonderland'. They were taken quickly before the show started. Hope you enjoy them!
