Seasons Greetings

Hi everyone,

We have been busy since the show regrouping and getting ready for the last push before Christmas.  Have you done all your Christmas shopping yet?  We certainly haven't. 

We love this time of year, getting ready to spend time with the special people in your life, and of course including those that may not be as fortunate.  It will soon be time to get the tree and decorate it.  That is always so much fun.  Do you have a theme for dressing your tree?

I have just been busy sorting out our photos so I could make a new Christmas coverpage for Facebook.  Here is the finished article.  What do you think?

Woodend Show

Hi everyone,

As I told you I have been busy in my studio.  I am off to Woodend Bear Show near Melbourne in Victoria, Australia on Thursday.  I am taking my Bears by Tracey artist collectable bears and also the Teds.

Newsletter launch

I promised

Hello again,  as promised I will share a few more of the bears that Tracey has taken with her to London.  I am sure you will agree she has done a great job.

These are a few of my favourites.  The first ones I call "My Three Sons".  It took me back to a TV series I used to watch when I was young! Now thats giving away my age isn't it?

And what about this one... I think its a real cutie!

It sounds like Ned the Ted has been really busy now that he is in London.  Don't forget to share his adventures with the little people in your life.

What a week!

Hi everyone, its been one of those weeks with lots going on.  It still doesn't stop Tracey from having some great design moments and in due course you will see what she has been working on. 

We have been busy working on our Christmas ideas and I am sure you will be pleased with the results when they start appearing on the table.  Isn't it great when the creative juices have an opportunity to flow?


The other exciting thing to happen this week is that we have been featured as Designer of the Week on Kid Independant. We are very proud of the article they have written about us. Please check it out when you have a chance by hitting the link above.

Who has been sleeping in my bed?

Behind the scenes at LBC HQ we have been working on accessories for the bears and bunnies. 

We have just released our little kitset bed on Etsy after lots of prototypes.  It is made of MDF board and just slots together.  We also have bedding sets to go with it and more in the pipeline.    

These great little beds are ready for decorating or to use as they are.  They not only fit the bears and bunnies but also BJD dolls up to 6 inches tall, so great for Pukipuki, pukifee and Lati White.

Home again

Hi everyone,  we got home last night after Wellington had another big earthquake.  We were lucky to be on the first plane back into Wellington after the airport had been closed for checking.  Everything was fine only a few broken glasses. 

We had a lovely weekend in Christchurch, great catching up with collectors.  We had some great feedback about our new products so we are busy working on new lines to compliment our range.  Tracey shared her knowledge on bearmaking with several new makers.

Back to reality today, sorting everything out, stocktaking then getting back into the groove.

New Product Release !!!!

Hi everyone,

Lots has been going on behind the scenes and I am pleased to say that we have just launched our new bed and bedding range on Etsy especially designed for the Snuggle Bears and Bunnies.  They are also great for any dolls under 6 inches tall like Lati and Pukipuki. 

The bed is a little kitset which just fits together, no glue, nails or tools required.  The first range of bedding is pictured below.  Please let us know what you think.
