what I have finished

Hi all! Hope you have had a lovely week!

I have been really busy this week in the studio and have managed to finished several bears all out of my lovely sunshine coloured mohair. You saw on monday, the bear in pieces and here is the bear in progress as well as the finished bear. It is off to have its' noses waxed and footpads shaded and then it will be completed.

Loved this mohair so much, I decided to make another 3 bears from it.

The 4 little sunshine bears are off to get all dressed up at Noelines over the weekend.

What I did last Sunday!!!!!

Hi all. sorry for the late post! Noeline and I  have decided that we will post every Monday and Friday and let you know what has been happening at the Little Bear Company HQ.

Well Last Sunday my husband Dave and I completed the 10 Km walk through the Manawatu Gorge. This event happens once a year and is the only time that the tracks are open to the public.
It was most enjoyable however very slow at time as we had to go single file over the bridges.

The Studio

Here is a where all the designing and creating takes place for the Little Bear Company.
It is slowly getting organised and everything in its place.
 Its so good to have somewhere to go, just be and create.

Set up Shop

Well its all getting very exciting.  We have almost finished our Set up shop course.  Its been great wonderful getting to know new creative people from all over the world and sharing the dream of working in a craft business and all the trials and tribulations.

We have been working hard on our products and they will be released shortly.  Watch this space for news.

Noeline and I are just heading into the last week of our online business course.  "Turning your Hobby into a Business".  It has been an exciting experience and we have learnt heaps of stuff.  Our brains are sore!!  Now we just have to put it all into practice.  So be sure to come back soon to see our exciting new products as we are preparing for the launch our new Etsy shop in May
